What Kate Middleton’s Wedding Dress Means For Jewesses

Shopping for a modest wedding dress just got a whole lot easier for Orthodox Jewish brides and others concerned with covering up for their weddings. No doubt long sleeved wedding dresses, a la Kate Middleton’s by Sara Burton of Alexander McQueen, will be much easier to come by next season. Though something must be done about that plunging neckline…

  1. So happy to see a (mostly) modest and demure gown on a current fashion icon. The (now) Duchess of Cambridge surely proved that one can look glorious without showing too much skin.

  3. It is a beautiful and modest dress. I think people should embrace those modest gowns more often! Topped off with some delicate minimal Jewish jewelry, that’s all you need.
