New-ish Jewess on the Bargain Blog Block

by Rebecca Honig Friedman

The other night while covering a ParnasaFest event (see the story on Friday on TJC’s Newsdesk blog), I met the Bargain Jewess, a.k.a. Arielle Klein, who’s been blogging for several months from the POV of “a Jewish fashionista living the NY life and dissecting the jungle called Judaism.” Recent posts include tips for fun freebies in NYC, a rundown on the new batch of ten-minute hairdyes, and an argument for why Orthodox women should be fashion-forward (I had to leave some comments on that one).
Klein also has her own personal shopping and event planning business. And, get this, her husband, Dani Klein, started Yeah That’s Kosher!, a kosher travel blog which welcomes submissions from other kosher-keeping travelers. Fun couple!

  1. Thanks for the shout out Rebecca. I”ve been enjoying the comments on my Tznius post. I’d definitely wanna look into the jap Kol Kevuda connection. Might be an interesting post.

  2. Yeah That’s Kosher!, a kosher travel blog is a great site

  3. Agreed, Dani and Arielle are a great, fun, and highly entrepreneurial couple.

  4. And you can see them, and yourself, Dave, on The Jewish Channel’s video Week In Review:
